Does Your Soul Need a Workout?

If only we worked on our soul as hard as our body. Can you imagine praying and reading your Bible for the same length of time we go for a run? Or going to church as much as we go to the gym?? What if we exchanged all our mirrors reflecting inward, looking at what we can change on the inside? Think of the transformations we would make!

Although exercise is healthy and good, it’s so easy to focus on what we can see and forget about what’s in our hearts – which can be more visible to others than our muscles. You know what I mean. We’ve all seen it – a physically beautiful person who is hideous because they have an ugly soul.

Godliness is the most beautiful trait of all – and can make even the ugliest person beautiful. We need to exercise love, patience, joy, peace, faithfulness, goodness, kindness and humility and experience the most drastic transformation ever. Practice makes perfect. – Bonnie
